Privacy Policy

Last Updated: May 2026

This policy describes the personal data Yekal currently handles on the public V1 sales site and during source-code license delivery. It should be reviewed by qualified counsel before production use.

Human legal review required

This privacy summary matches the current no-database V1 implementation, including Creem checkout, Resend email, GitHub delivery, and a local cookie-consent banner. Processing inquiry or checkout data does not expand the commercial scope: the launch package still excludes bundled hosting, unlimited implementation support, buyer-specific legal/compliance guarantees, future platform rights, and extra deployments unless separately sold.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the information you submit through checkout and contact forms, including name, email address, company, billing or delivery fields, phone number, GitHub username, locale, and the contents of your support message. We also receive limited technical metadata such as IP-related request logs, browser data, and order or checkout references from our hosting and provider platforms.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use this information to create checkout sessions, verify payment, deliver source access, invite the correct GitHub account, send purchase and support emails, respond to questions, and maintain basic operational and compliance records for the launch workflow.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share only the data needed to run the current workflow with service providers such as Creem for payments, Resend for email delivery, GitHub for repository access, and infrastructure providers that host or secure the site. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect against fraud or abuse.

4. Cookies and Tracking

The public site currently uses a consent banner that stores your cookie preferences in your browser local storage. We do not currently run first-party analytics cookies, advertising trackers, or marketing automation on the public site. Third-party providers such as Creem may apply their own cookies or tracking once you leave Yekal for their checkout surfaces.

5. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data we handle, including provider-managed authentication, secret management, and access controls. No internet or provider workflow is perfectly secure, so this section should be reviewed alongside your actual hosting and vendor posture before launch.

6. Data Retention

The current V1 site does not keep an application database order ledger. Purchase, support, and delivery records may still be retained in provider dashboards, email inboxes, hosting logs, and GitHub or payment records for as long as they are needed for support, compliance, fraud review, or legal obligations. Consent preferences remain in your browser until you clear them.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, objection, or export of personal data. Contact support@yekal.com to make a request. We may need to retain certain provider or transaction records when required for fraud prevention, accounting, taxes, or legal compliance.

8. Children's Privacy

This public sales site is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly market or deliver source-code licenses to children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, contact support@yekal.com so we can review and address it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when the Yekal launch workflow, providers, or legal obligations change. When we make material updates, we will revise the date on this page and, where appropriate, adjust related product or consent copy before relying on the new language.

10. Contact Us

For privacy questions, data requests, or launch-related concerns about this policy, contact support@yekal.com or use the public contact page.
